Jeffrey A. Darling was recruited to the firm and joined it as a partner in 2015 because of his extensive civil and criminal trial experience. His early trial experience included criminal cases as a public defender and Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, where he tried a vast array of cases ranging from simple misdemeanor cases to complex death penalty cases. He then ventured into civil trial work at the law firm of Landrum & Shouse. Over the next 25 years, Jeff would handle and try hundreds of civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts, including products liability, medical negligence and other insurance defense related cases. In addition, Jeff has been active in practicing at the appellate level, arguing cases in the Kentucky Supreme Court, the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Sixth Circuit. Jeff holds an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®. He is an experienced mediator and is very active in the community and is extremely well respected by clients, lawyers and judges alike.
